how does pre ordering albums etc work on there??

does it download automatically??
it says you pay for it as soon as it is released, so i assume that would be when i load up itunes on the day of release and it starts downloading??

Why not just download it when its released?

But yes I'd assume thats how it would work.

I often pre-order on itunes.

You get e-mailed as soon as its available for download!

When you next open itunes, after it has been made available it will download the album automatically.
