Thats actually a REALLY good price!!!! You can pay around £3k for maschini rims for a bike (Magnesium), and you only get 2 of those, they are 17", and about half as wide as your alloys.
So in the bigger scheme, its really not that bad a price, and at 18" odd, the weight saving alone will be huge.

Yeah as above. The back bit is actually the airbox and contains the two air mass meters, its clever how it all fits together. The front part is like an inspection cover and just clips on and off so you can get to the dipstick and oil filler!

To be fair for a 2 tonne estate it handles really well, much more sure footed than the old Tuscan anyway!!!! 
But you dont buy a 2 tonne estate for getting round corners quickly, youve done enough damage on the straights to gently waft through the bends!
