i currently have an is200 Lex...

just recently as i put my foot down, a whistling sound comes from under the car, mite be exhaust i think...is there a hole in it or sumthing else??

any1 help!

My 12v makes a whistling/whirring noise passed 4.5krpm

is it coming through the stereo?
if so it could be the alternator

just come back from a local garage, he seems to think its the rear pads..they are quite thin..

he said exhaust would be constant noise if an hole was there but has ruled that out!

gona change pads and see the outcome

I'd go with what the mechanic Kittah says.. Sounds like its talking from experience tbh
