Didn't you get most of your car on finance?

I work hard and I get paid more than most people my age but I couldn't afford £30k without a lot of finance.

Not having a dig - just wondering that's all

I dont know anyone really that could afford £30k on a car. Of the people I do know that could, they would still get finance becasue they can probably borrow cheaper than they can invest money!!

What does it matter anyway how he affords it!

i can afford the finance, therefore i can afford my car you asked how he could afford a 30k car at 23. i answered with the only obvious answer.

i'm not saying you don't work hard by the way if that's what you think i was saying, you more than likely earn more than me anyway

I would say that for the avg joe, a car like that will be part bought part finance! At least if I bought a car of that value thats what id try to do, 50:50 owned - then at least 3yrs on once its paid you sell it & should get 50% back to start over again on a new motor!?

If you can get comfortable paying 300-400 a month finance/loan to drive the car you want, change every 3yrs!! Thats what id do anyway.
