I'm with you on that one, I would have probably done the same if I had been in the same situation...

That's fucking disgusting, I'll let someone stab me if I get threatened or I might go to jail. I presume the attacker got more time for causing the situation, or would that make too much sense?

That happened 2 mins down the road from where I live.

Good that he'll be out soon, as said he should never have been imprisoned.

Well that just fucked up, he has a family to look out for and he was just trying to do his bit for the area he lives in, and the gets confronted like that, so he would either stayied shitting himself at the end of the knife wondering if hes going to get stabbed, or run the guy over..i know what i would do..run the fucker over

does anyone know what the two lads got?

It is clearly a case of self defence. The law states that minimum force should be used. If he was in his car then his only option was to drive. The pivoting factor was probably whether he could have reversed the other way and fled therefore not causing injury, if he only had one way to go then tough shit on his attacker.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I'd have reversed back over him to make sure he was severely injured.

Like fuck you're thinking 'what is reasonable force to use here with this aggressive young man and his knife in front of me'.

Not familiar with this tale if woe.

I'm not actually surprised the poor man is in jail considering what a hole the UK is currently, regarding defending it's own citizens that contribute and lead a decent life, but it still beggars belief that he is.

If he'd killed the scumbag (It's a tragedy he didn't), he shouldn't be doing time for it.

The gentleman in question should be applauded for dealing with the situation appropriately in my opinion.

He only gets a 9 out of 10 from this judge though as he left his assailant breathing.

I just wish the media would stop calling the lowlife scum a "victim"

This just highlights that this country is corrupt and protects the lowlifes and not the general public and we all just sit around and take it.
