Usually i wouldn't post crap like this but this is a little strange.

I've had a sore neck for 3 weeks now. Cannot move it side to side without it hurting. Wasn't a big issue and thought it would resolve itself.

However, twice this week it has got really bad to the extent i cannot move my head enough to even look in the side mirrors without it hurting really bad. Bear in mind, you do need to check your blind spots on the motorway which i couldn't do.

Tonight it has got really bad again when i've got home. i can't even lay down without it hurting.

Advice needed without the stupid comments!

Get some deep heat on it! You've probably just strained something.

Should it be like this for 3 weeks though?

Worried i've done some sort of damage somehow. I work with computers so not lifted anything.

My alarm shit me up this morning and i jolted my neck. Its not been right since. Anyway, when i was younger my neck kind of froze with my head at an angle and stuck for days. All the doctor prescribed was some muscle cream possibly called movelat?

Physiotherapy/Chiropractor/Ibuprofen
All of the above.

(Sounds like mechanical/muscle based pain)
The fact its been there for 3 weeks actually makes it less concerning, in terms of bad things going on, rather than more concerning.
