cant get insured on calibra turbo but can on a corsa LET

When i was 19 (5 yrs ago) i had an Astra Gsi 1.8 16v model and with 1yrs ncb i was paying way less than £1k TPFT.At 19 with 1 yrs NCB i was paying just under £900 on a Calibra Turbo.
Just shows how much its went up over the years.Or do u live in a bad area?
