never been on one, but i guess:
pull yourself down with the holding hand,
grip the body with your knees and heels
if you have to hold a hand in the air, have it directly above your head.

been on a few, the trick is as said just use ure strongest hand to hold on, keep a low centre of gravity and grip like fuck with ure thighs and legs

Pah dont grip tight with your legs and thighs thats how you will come off, you will tense up. Its like riding a horse sit deep and try to go with it. Arse up put your weight back, when the front comes up sit forward.
