so im applieing to a betting shop, and on the application form im finding it hard to answer these two Q's.
What do you expect the position you have applied for to involve?
Why do you believe you would be suitable for this position?

Involved in the job -
Creating a clean, tidy and well presented 'shop floor'
Handling cash
Maintaining legal requirements re. Age 21 scheme
Knowledge of how to place bets?
General customer service duties i.e. being pleasant to customers
I dunno what else, last time I went in a bookies was about 6 years ago with my grandad

1. dealing with the public, involed in being trusted in handling cash amounts.
2. i have a good personality, as well as the ability to talk to people of all ages (coffin dodgers get in there alot dont they?). not only this, but i am a fan of many different sports therefore would be able to watch and chat to punters, and get to know the regulars.
