I had all four of mine out because there was no room for them. General anesthetic, part of my upped and lower jaw removed, 32 stitches in my mouth and what I can only describe as the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced, good luck

I've had one removed this year, bottom one as it was impacted and i kept getting infections which were super painful.
Went to the hospital, had a local anaesthetic and then spent 45minutes watching some dude pull it out with pliers, at one point he was leaning on my chest whilst pulling it out, felt like my jaw was going to snap when he was pushing and pulling, in the end he got it out in one go, i had 4 roots on it (usually get 2) which is why it took ages to come out! My jaw and neck were bruised the next few days because of it all.
But its the best thing i've ever done, no more hassle at all. I've even asked to have my other side taken out just to make sure i never get it on that side. I felt no pain just all the pressure of pulling and pushing!

One was partly out - the bottom one
The other one wasnt - they took it out because it was growing against my teeth
They said I only had 3, and I wouldnt need the third one out as it looked like it wasnt going to move....they were wrong

I'm the same Fee, the one i have left in the bottom is growing at an angle towards my teeth, but on x-ray they can see my root is less than 1mm from the nerve in my jaw, they said i have a higher % risk of the nerve being damaged and losing feeling in one side of my jaw and they don't know if it would be permanent :/
So at the moment its staying in until it gets infected (if it ever does) which is what my dentist recommended when i asked for it out

I have had one (top) out as it was taking too long to come through, albeit straight. Went to the dentist...needle in my gum and told to wait in reception for 30 mins. Back in, couldnt feel a thing that side of my mouth, and had it yanked out in all of 10 seconds. That very evening I ate chicken curry and rice, chewed on the opposite side.
The next day though I was in a bit of pain, but nothing that a couple of cocodamol didnt sort.
