I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Removing Front Bumper

Here's a guide to removing your front bumper on your corsa c!

What tools do i need?

* Ratchet set
* Torx bit set
* Screwdriver
* Pliers
* Cushions or something similar to rest your bumper on
* Trolley Jack (can use the one that comes with the car)

Step 1.
Slide a couple of big cushions or something similar under the bumper for when you take it off, just so you don't scratch it!
Open the bonnet up:

Step 2.
Locate the three (3) 8mm nuts that hold the bumper to the car, they're above the V grille.

Step 3.
My car is only lowered 30mm and i struggle to get my hand under the arch for this next part. So turn you wheels to full lock, either way, depending on which side you're doing. Then i jacked the car up slightly so i had a little more room to move.

Step 4.
Remove the two (2) T20 torx screws.
One is located right on the underside of the wheel arch, pointing up towards the sky.

The other one is about a third of the way up, just inside the arch. You should be able to see it with your wheels on full lock.

Step 5.
Now you need to remove the two (2) 10mm nuts that're also in the arch. The first is only a few cm's on from the last torx screw you removed. The second is right in the middle of your arch, on the inside.

1st one:

2nd one:

Step 6.
Pull the arch out a little so it isn't holding the bumper on anymore.

Step 7.
Repeat steps 3-6 on the other side.

Step 8.
Now get down and have a look right underneath your bumper. You will see a plastic panel which is attatched to your bumper and to the car. You need to remove the three (3) plastic plugs that are holding it to the car. This is what the pliers are for. They take quite a bit of effort to get out. Once i'd managed to pull a bit of it out, i used a screw driver to lever them out, then used the pliers again!
They look like this:

Step 9.
Now all you have to do is slide the bumper off and disconnect the air temperature sensor and your fog lights, if you have them.

Now you've successfully removed your front bumper!

Just follow all the steps in reverse order to refit.
