From the daily mail

quote:

Motoring television show Top Gear has been using Morse code to poke fun at Strictly Come Dancing. In a programme broadcast last week the words 'Strictly Come Dancing is crap' were spelled out in dot-dash beeps, dubbed over the soundtrack to the show. The message was tapped out as mystery racing driver The Stig raced around a track in a Lamborghini, as well as another message which spelt out: 'I love cheese'. Most viewers failed to pick up on the joke except for a minority of Morse code fans. Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has already had a dig at the Saturday night dance competition show in a column he writes for a national newspaper. More joke messages are planning to be tapped out in forthcoming episodes of the BBC2 show, which also stars Richard Hammond and James May. This includes a message which says: 'I voted ror Ross Perot' after the US politician failed in his bid to become president. A BBC source told the Sun: It's all just a bit of fun. Top Gear is known for being irreverent so this is just the producers' idea of a joke.'
