ok here goes,
Redtop has a stainless steel exhaust system on it,its far too loud lol.non cat model.
Think if i fitted a corsa sport back box on to it,it would quieten it down alot???
also i want it to look standardish hence no 3.5" pipes etc
Signs that im getting old lol

Does it have a middle box fitted??
My XE corsa with no cat,2.25" centre section with 1 middle box and magnex rear wasnt loud.

Basically to make an exhaust subtle but while still being free-flowing you need to use HUUUGE straight through silencers.. Mines far to loud too, I'm going to put in some long expansion boxes in the mid section.

was thinkin that,but a want a standard lookin back box,eg corsa sport one.
would that be alright with it being an xe??cant see a back box making much a difference

i didnt want my exhaust to be loud as i had a remus straight through system put on mine, but i still wanted a nice looking backbox..
so i thought well a standard backbox wont alow it to be loud, but then i wanted a nice looking tip
so my local custom exhaust place did this for me, little one off jobbie

sounds nice and subtle..
custom is the way forward

Pretty sure i've seen an xe corsa with a standard looking back box. pictures were on here a few months ago iirc, looked very sleeperish!

that was cunningham, it was an black tail ashley system
a normal corsa backbox with have too small of a bore for an xe, and defo wont fit if you have an aftermaket system fitted as the bore will be bigger than standard

Ive got a Piper 2" bore silenced decat, scorpion silenced centre section flares out to 2" bore, scorpion backbox with 3" imola tailpipe. Sounds smooth and lush.
