I was just looking through the "what's on" at the art centre cinema here and saw a film called "Maldito bastardo", so i looked it up on youtube cos it sounded interesting (ie, spanish ). According to the trailer, it uses binaural sounds in the film, and in a horror film i can see it being a bit of a headfuck. I think I may have to go watch it to find out

The trailer, WTF?!
But if the sound was recorded using binaural techniques (binaural head, AeVox IE stereo MkII's etc), it would only work if listening to it using a pair of headphones. I'm not sure why they would do it otherwise as you'll get weird phasing and other issues listening to it in a cinema/tv etc - ie: having no binaural effect what so ever.
