They bulk buy units. Hence they sell what they have, before buying more. Make Sense?

i think most people know this, however, the bit that pisses them off is while it takes weeks to drop in price for obvious reason, when the price of a barrel goes up from day to day they put the price at the pumps up the same day despite having purchased the petrol in bulk at a lower pirce.

but hey thats capatalism eh.

not really. if theres another petrol station 5 miles up the road and it's about 5p per litre cheaper then you'll probably still save money if you drive the 10 mile round trip each time.

i just paid 97.9 for tesco 99 which isn't too bad

But what if its more than 5miles??And you have a car that does 20mpg??Surely cant be worth it then.

Diesel still needs to be cheaper. My weekly fill up is now nearing £38 though

Was £49 when it was 1.35 a litre

You're lucky that fuel is going down at your place. In our country it went up due to the govt introducing a new tax to invest in solar and wind power
