The way I see it, you cannot simply tell someone who's depressed "get over it" etc, because each and every case is different. Some folk ARE just lazy bastards who want time off work, and gp's will fall for that. But you really can't tell that without actually knowing the person. Nobody really in here knows Robin THAT well to tell. So opinions aren't really valid.

Quite a few do and know that I'm not sitting round on my arse doing fuck all about it, but some people can't grasp actual depression either.

Looking back, it looks like I'm saying "He might, or might not actually have depression" It wasn't meant to come across like that, I know you're not a fibber mate

I can see where Robin is coming from, I know someone who got depression as a result of Myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME).

The people who are telling Robin to 'man up' and all that jazz are just clueless TBH, they have no understanding only drawing conclusions from telly etc.

TBH, the funny thing is, this is a thread slating Mobby (up until page 5), yet it's already been said he must have issues or something. He feels more hard up.

So it's ok to berate him? Is he not one of these poor poor hard-done-to boys that deserves sympathy just as much as robin? Where's the understanding for him? Where's the empathy?

I've said all along he doesn't deserve to be banned. He clearly has issues, but isn't willing to talk about them. He needs to. Without talking about them, he's not going to get anywhere.

He deserves as much as everyone else does, I don't debate that.
