Basically i need to model a house for college and need to be fairly accurate; 1:100 scale.

Need a supply of balsa wood. needs to be 260mm x 260mm x 2mm

I thinking a modeling shop? Any idea what sizes are avaiable?

Any other materials that should be considered

model shops sell sheets of it, my dad use to make his model planes out of it when I was a kid

the most satisfying feeling ever is writing on balsa wood with a biro pen

Surely if it is to be accurate you will need 1:100 scale bricks. Or is the house you are modelling made from wood??

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

well basically it only needs to be an impression of the house that i am "designing." But it does need to be to scale so that it look proportionally correct
