Crazy aint it?!
I was looking for a tow car recently and opted for a 2000 model BMW 330d estate as its £70 cheaper to tax than a 2001 emmission based tax 330d.
Add some 19" wheels and hey presto.

But 70 over the course of a year.
I would NOT let £1.50 a week steer me away from the car i like

Fuck that - pay a probably another 50% value on top for buying one. And pay about 12p a litre more for the fuel so you hardley save anything on your day to day costs which you have already wasted buying the car

I agree - even the 170 VAg units are like that
However wityh nearly 200 BHP it will not be slow
However the rev range of a petrol is something I miss
