Anyone here work perminant nights? Just started on Monday night and so far loving it. Some of the blokes in work have been on nights for over 28 years!!

do a weeks worth on a rolling rota of 5 weeks split with a team mate so you either do 4 or 3 every 5 weeks

always wanted to work nights duno why, theyre ace - nobody in to boss you around, just get on and go to bed

thing i find is, time goes so fast on nights, i cant believe its now thursday already

Yeah i love it, plus i only have to work 4 nights a week, and its flexi too. i also have the option of friday night as overtime.

dont do nights but i do from 5pm-1.30am

where u working?
i prefere working nights, were on a 2 shift roatation,
7-4 days at 9:30-7 nights

I work at Bae Systems on Typhoon final assembly.

As I said, it is flexi time so i can start between 20:30 > 22:15 and finish between 06:15 > 07:30

That is monday to thursday.

i do the night shift every 3 weeks for 5 nights.

it's not too bad really. the first night after the weekend is a bit shit and it's difficult to get sleeping patterns back to normal over the weekend but it's pretty good as you get the daytime to do what you want.

you do feel quite tired all the time though in my experience over the last 16 months.

done nights for 3 years now much prefer it to days i work mon to fri 2130 untill around 0800. to be honest i dont even mind when i have to do a sat night as i just think of the money!

It gets annoying quite quickly unless the people you associate with also do nightshift.

i worked night shift and loved them..

worked 4 nights and got payed more than for 5 days

12 hour shifts..
