I know this is general chat, but pretty important. Was looking at my brakes today, and wasnt sure if they are backwards?

Anyone know? thats drivers side btw. Should they be the other way round?

I was told that if they are fitted like in the pic it improves braking a bit but gets through pads quicker as the grooves cut into the pads better, but I don't think its that much of a difference. Mine are fitted the same

it has nothing to do with the direction of the grooves, its the direction of the internal veins in the disc itself.
they are designed so that the heat is dispersed from the disc outwards and if the disc is backwards then the heat wont get out from the centre of the disc as easily.

if you look at the info on the EBC website (top pic looks like EBC disc) then its fitted wrong.
And I can also confirm the pic of the reylands are definitely wrong as I know for sure the internal vanes face the other way on them.
