ARP bolts, what are the advantages of these? Looks, strength, performance?

And how much does it cost to raise a rev limit?
And what also are the advantages?

i think the bolts add strength so you can push bigger power.

cost of rev limit would be a re-map i think, they are a good couple of hundred to get it done properly.

the advantage is your car will be faster and the block can with stand more punishment.... i think lol

They are stronger so shouldn't break at the higher revs.

None if you don't have mods that are pushing the power further up the rev range.

you can also get the dblias chip that you get with there inlet to raise your limit, but i think they are hard to get a hold of.

So you'd only really raise the revs if you had inlet/cams etc.

not much point otherwise as the revs will die down before the higher rev range anyways

there is a guy on here who has just got inlet, 4-2-1 and a raised limit and i think he told me he had about 125bhp

basically the standard rod bolts snap at higher rpm's, arp dont snap, so you can rev the engine more if need be. also worth swapping to metal cam belt tentioners.
