1st/2nd Nov 2008 - its the Santa Pod fireworks/bonfire night celebrations!
i would post this in regional but aimed at four (SE, SC, WM,EA) and rather than start four threads thought i would start one.
Nov 1st is the big day with a loads to see (photos below) with the day ending in fireworks and a bonfire (£20 ticket)
Nov 2nd is the RWYB - this is what i and other CS members attended last year, i believe some even ran (Fro ran the XE for the final time before Gregg had it iirc) this was a great day for only £10. all the fun of the fair from the day before but half the price. nearly all the vehicles that performed on Saturday enjoy the RWYB on the Sunday and is a great chance to see something different going down the strip!
some photos are below and video of the Saturday here

details: http://www.santapod.co.uk/e_flame.php

i am going and would set up a convoy for SC but am on holiday Sat 25-Sat 1st so wont have chance to monitor this
rather than let the CS community miss out though thought i would make this thread for comments and interest to be shown.
hope to see some of you there!

alot of the cars/dragsters from Saturday but as a RWYB rather than an ordered programme complete with annoying PA guy! its billed as a standard RWYB which it is, but given what it there the day before its one of the best RWYB to watch in my experience i have had in going! half the price doesnt mean half the quality. but for a regular £10 there is alot more on offer to see than otherwise
£20 Saturday ticket
£10 Sunday ticket
£25 Weekend ticket
£20 sign on fee (ticket for unlimited runs down the strip)
Note there is no RWYB on Saturday - this is reserved for the display programme

Was pretty poor last year. It was also full of hicks, chavs and general scum. Plus I wasn't too impressed with Chico.
Oh, and I lost my freakin' car in the car park too. Took me ages to find it in the dark
