similar thing happended to me... was on the company owners email account, seen buisness plans that would make me redundant. worked the bar for the first time one night knobbed his daughter on the pool table, told the whole work force and sacked the next day for gross misconduct
hard one to tell the job centre about though

Enough nosing to sit there and read paperwork to see your name, read the rest of it?
They are not oblidged to say anything yet until its official so you cannot say anything to anyone, or your basically shooting yourself in the foot.
THe only thing you can do is look for a new job.
OR
ASk your boss about possible redundencys and how it will effect the company. ANY talk that you have read your name is on a list, will put you in the firing line to be got rid of first.
End of the day, you shouldn't be reading your bosses paperwork. Kinda like finding your xmas presents when you a kid before you're meant to, only with a bad suprise and not a good one

Theres three of us that work in the same department i needed some super glue, the other girl i work with said there was some in his desk drawer, shes worked with him alot longer than i have and i said do you think it would be okay if i just nipped in his office and got it!! She said no he'll be fine!!
Okay it wasn't left out openly to read but it should surely be kept somewhere more secure, especially when ive gone in there for things before! But when you see something interesting you can't help but read it?
I havent said i know, to be honest it's given me the kick up the ass i need to find something else, i haven't been enjoying this for a while and i have two possible leads i'm looking into at the moment.
I won't be telling anyone else i'm just glad i know it could possibly happen, theres no point rocking the boat in the company although it's not a nice situatuion to be in for anyone.
They arn't bad people to work for i have had alot of fun here too i just don't enjoy the actual job!!
It would be nice when i leave i do it in an adult manner and i can still have a good conversation if i pass them again in the future!!
