this might not answer your question but i've been pulled about 5 times due to speeding and haven't ever got points as they had no definitive proof i was speeding.

the saw me ''driving fast'' and just told me to slow down or and i quote ''take it down the country lanes and thrash it out there''

I have been pulled and they've had proof of my speeding and they've let me off everytime, you say it like it's un-heard of
