of smoke coming from a corsa c20let - what would this signify going wrong??

yer oil burner. Could be a number of things and usually pricey

Burning oil, it could be valve stem seals or something more serious.

Its oil burning.. Could be rings, turbo seals or stem seals...

check wet & dry compression... if thats fine do ask for leak down test...

if they are fine i'd hazzrd a guess at turbo seals.

either way i'd steer clear if its not a bargain.

Im reading that and thinking if he has had it all rebuilt 9k miles ago he has prob ragged the fuck out of it and not ran it in propperly.

Now it's fucked so he's selling it on.

Id be wary of this.

if its the turbo seals when ya first start it up there wont be any smoke then all of a sudden it will start pooring out the exhaust, my starlet gt's seals went used to disapere in a cloud when it was left on turbo timer lol
