My handbreak has just recently gone, i had a quick look for the problem i dont know much about cars but i can tell you where the problem is. Underneath the car you get a wire coming from each back tyre into the centre of the car going to the handbreak? Well underneath the car in the centre where there is 1 wire and has like a little bracket its snaped there? Is that the problem? Is that a handbreak cable and is it hard to put on?

Go to an auto factors and get both parts of the hand break cable. It's 1 long and 1 short cable but they're sold seperately.

You may need to pay a visit to vaux for a new adjuster that sits in the metal bracket or spend a bit time with a wire brush and some WD40 to free it up. (mine was seized!)

Its easy job.

Rear wheels off
Drums off
Cable off @ hand break end
Cable off @ drum end

Replace cable

Repeat above in reverse.
