as the title say how much would i be looking roughy to pay for a c20xe? and where could i get one from? thanks olly

Nah I think he knows what he means laddie. Late Cav SRi's had X20XE's. About 138bhp iirc.

I'm no cheap mate, £45 an hour A decent XE will set you back anywhere between £200-£500 depending if it has the loom F20 etc.

i picked up a mint cavalier sri for £350, and made more selling the parts of it so my engine basically didnt cost me anything

I'd go for the X20XE if I was you! Not much slower, but a bit of a newer lump.
