You work in Windsor

Where

To answer your question, I'd be spreading it about - £50,000 here and there because you get the old prtection if the bank goes under. And a lot also would go in a safe at my house.

abit of a long term investment that, apparently the arse is going to fall out of the property market when the recession hits properly, house prices are already starting to tumble. May have to wait a long time before it picks up again ?

£500k minimum deposit and over £5 million in assets including art, property and investments. If you have the potential to earn that much, e.g. you have been earning over £100k for a while, they will let you in. So yea, you'd need to win big

Keep what I'd think I would need and stick the rest in Government Bonds or summat.

Would prob investa series of £49,999 in various banks in their highest interest rate accounts and keep whatever was left in BOE bank account for spends.
