oh thats shit then, that was mixed with a 200 odd mile dual carriageway/ motorway miles aswell, which means everyday it's probably under 30MPG oh dear

Overkill Deano

I wanted to top up my tank once, but I got worried when the price at the pump said £70 so I stopped. Shouldn't be too far off, as apprantly I only have a 62 litre tank. I think I got just under 800 miles from that fill up according to my trip computer.

Ouch, the old man's A8 has a tank that big. Costs near £100 to fill up He filled my car up once for me because I'd been driving him about all week and he kept on trying to put more in after about 37 litres because he didn't believe me that I have a 45 litre tank

I got the shock of my life when I filled the biza up for the first time last summer. Clicked off on £31, just under 35 litres.

Used to spend £42 in the Corsa to get the same amount of miles

I'm averaging 42.4mpg in my A3 1.8T (150hp); I'm getting about 475miles to a £50-£55 tank which I'm pretty happy with!

Litres x 0.22 = gallons.

Miles / gallons = MPG.

£20 = 18.18 litres @ £1.10/litre.

18.18 x 0.22 = 3.99

100 / 3.99 = 25mpg.
