Well, he's said to replace them with mobile cameras, which is a worse thing IMO. At least you expect the fixed ones.

TBF moblie ones would make you think more before going over the speed limit with a fixed one you just slow down but you dont no were the mobile ones will be, for safty its a better idea.

But if your not speeding then where's the problem, I have a different problem with 'SURPRISE' speed camera's because I think people don't concentrate and get edgey when they see one and are more likely to crash.
I keep to the limits personally so getting caught isn't an option unless I lose concentration.
