I've sort of been in this situation before, but my mate made a move on the current girlfriend. Again, drunken mistake, all the CS'ers told me to tell him to GTF. I didn't speak to him for a while properly, but i've forgave him. Everbodys aloud a 2nd chance, right?
But in your situation, is obviously doesn't see you as his mate, does he?

My mate (number 1) 1st, he was with her for about 3 years, broke up.... few more years down the line another mate (number 2) shagged her a few times. He check with him 1st, he said she's in the past.
Few more years down the line, number 1 lived in Hull, number 2 went to visit, number 2 shagged this lass, year down the line and number 1 is now with said lass and has been for over 3 years now.
