Lately I seem to be getting not so much headaches, but more of a tired headache feeling. Also now and again I will get a light headiness feeling for 20-30 seconds or so, sometimes If I'm out shopping.
The only thing I can think it being is the amount I sit in front of a monitor/ xbox 360.
I spend 8 hrs on the PC everyday at work
Then a further 2 hours on xbox 360 at home
Then maybe another 1-2 on the laptop at home.
Do you reckon this could explain it?

alex maybe you need some mates who want to go to the pub and generally interact not using a computer.

I would say that sounds like a pretty fair explanation. They don't sound typical of any headaches that have an underlying medical cause.
As said above, the key is taking frequent (and long enough) breaks from all these activities. Exercise and getting active a few times a week will also go far to alleviate your problems I am quite sure.

I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with using computers so much. Provided there is compensation in terms of physical and social activity elsewhere.
When these (audiovisual) activities take hold to the detriment of other aspects of your life then perhaps you are using computers too much and would do well to make a conscious effort to put these to one side for a few nights a week?
Headaches are as good a motivator as any to make lifestyle changes.

Wow Fraser are you a doctor? Cheers for the comments. I don't take any breaks when on Xbox and rarely at work.
Willay, fair point. I used to play footy on a Tues but thats been cancelled. The mrs goes out on a tues and thurs night so I generally end up on the xbox.
Started going out on my pushbike for excercise as of last night and plan to do an hour a day now before or after work.
Might start going to footy training with my mates team as well.

Sounds like a good plan! I'm sure you'll see all manner of benefits, not least an improvement in the way you feel at the end of a working day/week.

just do something else, even if its sleeping. I spend 8 solid hours a day infront of 10 screens and I've never really experienced anything like you say unless i've taken something
