my names pete and yes i certainly am clever, i dont post on a public site i plan to lie to my insurance by swapping engine, also put my location down and also my e-mail address just incase anybody wants to dump you in the shit. Also any local constabulary can check this site so i hope you have shits n giggles till it all goes wrong.

Lee, if you're not happy with the site then you are very welcome to leave simply by not visiting in future.

I would ask you to consider that what you are proposing directly affects most people on this web site as despite what you may think, you won't be correctly insured if you change the engine and don't declare it.

Even if you buy a policy you may find the insurer doesn't honour a claim in the event of any discrepancies. As a result, other people will foot the bill for any such claim, which boils down to everyone else who is paying insurance legitimately, including me and most people I know.

If you can't take a bit of helpful advice requesting that you insure the car properly, or even don't fancy trying to insure what you're proposing with points already then my suggestion would be don't attempt what you are proposing.

Welcome to the site. I hope you are not put off by being told the right thing to do. I hope you appreciate the position of everyone who has posted such a reply.
