been on the phone today to a few insures and its got my head baffled.you phone one insurer and they just keep passing you down to loads of different insures which is pissing me off.
im with quinn direct and have been with them for 2 years now and have been no problem and just got my renewal quote through to day and is £552 fully comp with £150 excess which is not bad i don't think but im 22 with 2 years ncb and drive a slow 1.2 8v corsa.
got a quote through www.i4insurance.co.uk its a comparison website and more than came up on top with £525.80 fully comp with £100 excess what do ya think?
got a quote from brentacre for £630 fully comp with £450 excess which i think is a bit steep but were very nice & polite on the phone.
adrian flux were £480 with £450 excess then again bit steep on the excess side of things.
i now wish i never had a modified car and then would be more simple to go with direct line or church hill or something along those lines instead of this faffing about

Have you called them?
It might be totally genuine, but i'd phone up and check.
I got an unbelievable quote on a comparison site for more than and took it out straight away. A month later they sent me a letter saying they couldn't honour the quote and cancelled it, and reimbursed the remainder of my cash. Cheeky twats

It says on there "Modified Cars (including vehicles fitted with roll cages)". First table, right hand column, third one down.
