am i right thinking you cant cancel a cheque once its cleared from your bank?

If the cheque has already been paid you can't no, because the cheque has completed

What's happened to make you want to cancel one?

Could always try the bank to see if there is any possibility of trying to get the money back

Ahh right, get onto your bank and see what they say, they'll have the guys details and so will you so they may be able to do something about it

Hope it wasnt for too much, even though that's not the point
