what do you need to tax a car, might sound silly but i have never done it before and im just wondering as theirs a car for sale that i really like but it has non and i would need it to so it could be driven home

if ur insured to drive any other car 3rd party can u use that to tax a car?

They need certificate of motor insurance so at a guess no....

ye but if u have a certificate saying u can drive any car surly its the same as just being insured 3rd party on that car

The "any other car you can drive" has to also be insured so no, you need the original certificate of the car you want to tax
