What are people opinions on a ibiza cupra with 130000miles?

Is it worth saving 2k for a high miler?
Its got full service history.

Cheers

FSH is essential if you were to buy a high miler. If it doesn't display the usual wear and tear for that many miles then there's no reason why not mate.

I'm thinking more engine wise?
Any body owned a vag 1.8t with this sort of mileage?

Cheers anyway.
I was looking at one with 48k for 4200 But one with 131000 is 2000 a new engine is say 1500? So its got to be worth the risk?

I got a second and 1.8t engine with gear box and everthin for 820, and i've made some money back from selling parts, and i've got some expensive spares

As long as the car is tidy and there are no obvious signs of trouble/wear then it could be worth the risk try and get it diagnosed via vagcom if you know anyone as that will throw up any faults

Its some diagnostic software which can be used to scan vag cars to bring up faults and you can also switch some featureson and off.

Basically to VAG's what Tech2 is to Vauxhall

- I may be biased but I dont buy a car that has high mileage, FSH or not, but thats me, just bought my Derv astra 4 months ago on 65k, hoping that will last past 100k but its a Diesel

he only want 2k for it so i can't see it losing a great deal?
If i bought one with 70k it'll have 110k by the time i sell it anyway.

It's running about 200bhp so not tuned really.

Only problem is...you'll have trouble shifting it when it comes to selling it on, especially if you put 20-30k on it. I'd never buy a 150k car...ever.
