Few people on a local forum are going to have a crack at a 1250 mile round trip, to do the 10 best drivers roads in britain.
Decided it would be a good idea to get some sponsorship & do it for charity.
Not decided on a charity yet, but was wondering if there is anything we need to look into ie, legal side of stuff, and how to approach a charity (once we've decided on one)
Any other hits / tips would be good!

I was going to do a drive down to Champagne to go fill the car up with wine and back again for charity. It was a competition to see who could do the drive covering the least amount of miles possible. Can't remember what the winner got, or why I didn't do it, but I think I'll give it a go another time as it seems quite fun.

Did a trip to casablanca in a fur covered rover 200 for the british heart foundation, raised a fair amount
As for contacting a charity, phone them up directly and request a "charity pack" (stickers, t-shirts etc). It usually costs for a collection pot though. One the rally is over, it just the case of handing the cash in

Would many people want to sponsor you for something you want to do anyway, not exactly going out your way to do it?

Well, its just rather than just doing it, we could help raise some money for a charity.
Its not like, oh we'll get in the news or owt like that, just thought it would be nice.

You can walk the 1250 miles if you want, but seeing as they are the "top ten drivers roads in britain", we've decided to drive them.
Was only asking for advice :rolleyesallovertheshop:
