Hi,
GF is looking to replace her B and I think a C would be a good step up for her. I want her to get the 1.2 SXI as it will still give her decent fuel economy and be nippy enough for round town.
Ideal car is:
52 Plate(Ish)
Pre-facelift/facelift - Not fussed
Black
SXI
Now I assumed you could pick these up for 2k - 2.5k by now. Seems like the only ones for sale in that price range are the 1.0's. And every SXI that is for sale seems to have holes in the parcel shelf etc so want to steer clear of those!
I assume I am dreaming thinking I can get a SXI for that price? Its a buyers market atm so I may be able to haggle people down to my level

id say more 2.5k +
i browsed ebay and autotrader etc before i knew what to spend on mine. as i had no clue what they were worth.
you will always find a bargain somewhere for one, its worth really looking around

Feel free to send a link to the advert over. Worth looking at. Although I am assuming its going to be a first gen on like a Y plate with no toys?

Going to keep my eyes open in the local papers etc as might get some cheap in there if they dont want to pay for autotrader.
I sold mine for 2.2k and that was an 02 plate 2 years ago. Although that was a 1.0....

its got lotsa irmy kit on it atm. but im putting it back to standard....tis a 5 door tho..eekk! haha
has all the toys, traction, air con, cruise control, elec front windows etc etc. star silver 77k on the clock 2001 y reg
