my mate made one out of cardboard and upol filler from halfrauds

looked,,,,intresting.

I have a fibre glass one on my corsa ATM, $130 from ebay.

mate, there easy if ya no what your doing, best way to learn tho is by doing it. Dont use fiberglass or rivet steel onto bonnets like ive seen people do. Simple, get a template out of whatever, e.g. cardboard. Get some steel, cut it to shape making sure you leave a return lip so you dont have a sharp edge, bend lip over, cut excess over hangs if needed. Tack in place, then put a seam around if you want, some people just tack it in. Grind down ya welds after checking them with a slagg hammer, then apply filler. Simple

Make sure you flat ya paint back first leaving bare matal to weld to, feather ya paint back for best results.
