Not really tbh.
Classically your actual B.P. will be lower than when youre having it taken. The expectation makes higher!

Apologies for a half hearted reply last night;
I wouldn't be concerned about anything up to 150/90 in anyone without known disease (many of my patients with known CV disease run around 200/100 quite happily)
As an adjunct to that, perhaps the target of about 135ish/80 in those who are diabetic or other conditions predisposing to heart disease.
I appreciate the national 'guidelines' differ from this. But to be honest, I'm of the school of thought that I treat patients symptoms if any, and don't treat the numbers for the sake of it.
In any event an isolated reading is of very little value, worth getting 3 readings done over the course of about a month.
GP's are keen to jump on B.P. as they get (vast) amounts of money for treating all of those on their books with high B.P. in the wake of government target setting and all that jazz. (e.g. BP, Cholesterol, Smear tests etc)
If in doubt get in touch, or speak to your own GP, or buy a monitor for yourself at home (bout £10 from a chemists). A sustained small rise in B.P. would be easily tackled via diet/exercise. & relaxation!
