don't mind the new layout but it minimises my Warcraft when someone sends me a instant message for some reason - doesn't do it with the old version

They would be pretty stupid to try to do it. It would result in the site being a over night failure.

Maybe the advertising isn't working though and they're looking for other avenues for revenue.

Should have saved money by not bothering to design a new Facebook. It's still full of glitches and incredibly slow, even slower than it is on the normal one.

there is no plans for charging, its just one of those stupid groups that people make, like the one that said petition to stop facebook being shutdown in 7 days, this was several months ago

Why would they charge people to use it. The reason why Facebook is so valuable to it's owners is because it's free. They will make a hell of a lot more in advertising than in charging.
