Remap a standard ecu to read boost??

its on a x14xe

the X14XE ecu has no MAP sensor built in that will see boost pressure. it does have a MAP system on it but will only recognise vaccum.

Dave, I told him to call MSD as I know they can re-map the standard ECU. Didn't know wether it could accomodate the boost though

Is there a big difference between a turbo ECU and non turbo ECU?

Thanks Dave thats all i need to know, im gonna be spendin near on £1200 Quid at this rate, an it just doesnt seem worth it!
