Its my birthday next month. The wife has hinted that she finally wants to get me a driving experience present, which i've been hinting about for years.
I want a track one, not rally or 4x4. Also ideally at Oulton but i'm willing to travel too.
Anyone know of any good ones.
I quite fancy driving a range of cars but am more bothered about learning track craft and how to be quick, not driving a ferrari just so i can say i've driven one!
I quite fancy a blast in an Elise/Caterham or similar.
Anyone done or know of any good ones?

my cousin did the ferrari round a track one.
they start you off in a s3 to get used to the track then he went in an elise and then the ferrari. said he loved it.
I did the skid pan one where you have fun in an m3.
i really fancy the rally course one tho

i did the ferrari 360, 911, lotyus n skooby i think that was about £300 though, got a free go in go carts and then somebody to take me round in a 4x4 was a good day tbh so much fun  thats was in leics though

I bought one for my partner for his Birthday in July, he's got it booked in for 20th Sept at Bruntingthorpe!
I got him an Ariel Atom driving experience, 1 practice lap in BMW, 3 laps in the Atom and then a high speed lap driven my the expert! Paid £160 for it off Virgin Experience Days.
He's well chuffed with it

I did one at castle coombe (south west)
Was about £200. The cars where limited, you start of in a new shape scooby then you go onto a lotus. I got a fair few laps in and the instruction was also very good.
They did mention a 5k limiter, but after a couple of laps the instructor had me red lining it in the lotus
The atom one mention above also sounds decent for £160 though

i've done:
Skid pan
Rally
Porsche experience
and loved the Rally had to be the best experience of the lot - I did it at Silverstone
