Yeah you can book on a ferry then just go, you will be fine unless its TT week when it is busy as hell, as you can imagine.

Ferries sail from Liverpool and Heysham.

Car + 2 is approx £142 return sailing over the weekend, or £128 return for midweek. Foot passenger is approx £32 return.

From Liverpool it takes 2 hrs 30 mins or Heysham is 3 hrs 30 mins.

Flights you can get from most airports, I found the cheapest was from Liverpool with flybe.

There are loads of B&Bs to chose from so you won't get stuck for somewhere.

it is worth checking whats on over there, there are other events like the rallying or the Manx GP and few trial biking events on too around this time of year.

Easy enough to get a room unless somethings on. I got chucked out of a b&b for bringing a girl back, well actually she was walking past our basement room window and we invited her in anyways we went to 2 or 3 b&b's and got another room pretty easily.

It's ok, be a nice weekend with the girlfriend imo, nice scenery and plenty to do

I love it on the Isle Of Man. I go for the Manx Internationl Rally every year. The people are so nice over there.

I lost my wallet whilst over they. Got a phone call a couple of weeks after getting back from the isle of man police to say my wallet had been handed in. They sent it back to me, and it even had all the cash still in it.

Cant wait to go back next year!

Anyone sailing... don't fookin go if it is rough.

If I could have dragged myself outside onto the deck on Friday morning, it's have thrown myself off the damn boat. Worst night of my entire life...
