i need help working something out

the cost of

100 miles at 35mpg

with petrol costing 110.9 a litre

i got as far as a galon being 4.5 litres..

100 miles at 35mpg = 2.85 imperial gallons

2.85 imperial gallons in litres = 12.95 litres (I used google for this bit)

12.95 litres x 1.109 = £14.40ish

I say ish as I rounded a few numbers

2.8 gallons = 12.7290573 litres

13L X 111p = 1443p
