Yeah, the Mondeo has two great kits as diesels. Firstly, there's the Zetec S, which has 18inch alloys and better bumpers all round, but they also do the kit shown above on the diesel model too, the ST.

Saab 95 Aero Estate -

Brother has a 2001 and for the price he payed they are well spec'd - leather, air con, heated seats, cd changer etc. There pretty reliable, although spare parts are similar priced to that of a Vag (not cheap but there are places around to get parts at reasonable prices). They go like shit off a shovel if need be, although i've seen single mpg figures on the trip computer when he has his foot planted. Otherwise cruising up and down the motorway they'll do 22-28mpg all day long.

edit - another note, servicing isn't too bad. Just make sure you use decent fully synthetic oil (Mobil 1 etc). And aslong as it's looked after they'll go for miles! Also, a cone filter to replace the air box (situated drivers side near the front wheel - it's a bit of an awkward area) does wonders and the engine seems to rev easier.

W8 = Two VR4 Engines bolted together to make a proper V..

Benefit is an engine thats effectively a V8 but only 2.5 cylinders in length..
