He's obviously suffered muscle atrophy, maybe steroids triggered an dormant illness which destroyed the muscle nerves, when muscle nerves are dead you will lose the mass quick but never heard of it this quick, a mate of mine suffered allsorts of bad turns with steroids, little ballbag, bad temper and he was never one to lose it, he'd walk away.
Hes covered in stretch marks aswell, as he went from about 11st to a muncher within a year.

Don't you get a lot of water in your muscles when on steroids? Hence why a lot of swatzlebangers aren't actually that strong as it isn't usuable stength.

I can see you losing quite a lot of muscle mass when a lot of it is water.

Can't wait for a gym expert to correct me!

Well I've been trying to get hold of my Mum since I read this (think she's working), she's a medical rep and ex-theatre nurse, and knows alot about it, especially steroids because she used to specialise in the ones you take for respiratory problems but I remember when I hit the weights when I wanted to be Brock Lesnar in my teens she filled me in with the intricacies of all types of steroids and how they affect you.
Half my family are NHS scum!
