due to no work. I work for the council and two contracts have been taken by outside firms resulting in loads of us loosing our jobs. Only just gone back aswell . Well pissed off, phone agency and they have no work for electricians either  .
so need a new fun job that ill get some satisfaction out of. thought about fire service going round schools talking to kids as there is a vacancy

Find out who has got the two contracts and ring them direct to ask for a job.
You might get lucky, especially if your workmates haven't had the same idea
