Anyone done one? Can do a full A-Level in a year - one evening a week.
I have average A-Levels and I know I could have done better so I feel like I should try and make up for it.
I'm looking at business studies.

I've looked at a masters but it's £££ and although my company do a sponsorship scheme, in the current market it is very unlikely to get approved.

Yes understandable... Ive had to delay mine for similar reaosns
why not another degree? Again, better than using the time/£ on an A Level course

hhmm maybe, how much do degrees cost? But that would take aaaaaaaages part time.
Tempted to fund my masters myself, it's £5.5k over 2 years and it's at a good uni too so it's not too expensive.

I'm looking to do a Oxyacetelene and then Arc welding course (2 seperate courses) at NVQ level as an evening course at the local HE College; its not something I need to do although it would help make my understanding of structures etc more practical instead of purely theoretical.

plus because I went to a school in the area, I only have to pay £155 per course (2 nights per week for 20 weeks per course). I didn't think it was bad and it gets me out of the house

LSE
Turns out that the latest masters I am interested in is day release not evenings like the LSE one.
That pretty much rules that out.

When they say day release, it could potentially be spread over 3 days a week

Yeah they told me that. I think it worked out about 20 applicants per place. But I have a 1st class degree and I work for Merrill Lynch
Yeh it was always going to be a bit of a longshot. Can't afford that one anyway.

Youll be wanting a very very high score in that thingy test Masters candidates take to even bother applying at LSE let alone for one of the evening courses

Well yeh but in the good uni guide it comes second for economics so that was kind of expected.
Just a shame it's £10k a year
